Brudder and Udder

Oh Shoots, I just realised that people actually read my blog...even tho I've told that to the BFF many a time but I've always had a ostrich brain "It only ever happens to Udder people!"

So anyway, the Brudder left last Fri and I was sooo relieved bcos he was really starting to drive me up the wall. He was like a little boy, constantly demanding to be fed. Except that in his case, he only ever seemed to want seafood and beer, like: seafood followed by beer from 10pm to 2.30am Mon - Thur, and beer from 2pm - 2am on Fri - Sun. The first time it happened, I stumbled to work the next morning at 11.10am, only to see a very grouchy Boss (probably cos he'd been waiting for me in the office since 8.30am!) who politely enquired as to my well-being. I managed a "Very well, thank you" mumble before I slunk out dragging my swollen tongue in search of coffee. Before he left that day, he said "Bye, see you tomorrow" and emphasized "morning" rather emphetatically I thought. Oops.

Over and above, I had to deal with the constant whining from the Brudder. "I want seafood!" "I dowan cheap food." "Why are you bringing me to all these expensive places??" (bcos you wan seafood which is not cheap?) "Where is my beer?" "Why is alcohol so friggin' expensive!" (bcos this ain't Germany where beer springs forth from thy honeyed lands) "I'm hungry." "I'm so stuffed." (bcos you ordered too much when you were hungry?) "I wanna sleep." (bcos you ate too much and we've averaged 4 hrs sleep per night?) "Where is my beer?" "I want an Irish pub." "Why are there so many gwai-los???" (bcos its an Irish pub duh) "Can't these f*cking people walk straight??" ..and finally (to old auntie who tried to edge past him while lining up for the next MTR) "OUI! You blind isit??? You think just cos you old, you can shove your ass in front of me HAR????" ......its just as well that he wasn't fluent in Canto otherwise we might be missing some body parts now.

But then he left and I kinda missed him. For a coupl of hours.

He said he'll be back in April. I'm checking out airfares. Just in case.
